About 200 participants joint JASPERS Stakeholders Meeting onsite and virtually. In this year's edition, we focused on how JASPERS can support the implementation of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). We showcased best practices and case studies related to project preparation, technical capabilities, upstream studies, and other initiatives.
Attendees actively participated in panel discussions and shared successful project experiences. It was particularly interesting to hear about the challenges faced in the implementation of EU funds and gathering insights, experiences, and potential needs for future JASPERS support.
The JASPERS Stakeholders Meeting begun with a warm welcome from Teresa Czerwińska, Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB). Also present were Francisco Barros Castro, Member of Commissioner Elena Ferreira's Cabinet, who is the commissioner responsible for Cohesion and Reforms at the European Commission, and Anatolio Alonso Pardo, Deputy Director General at EU funds, Directorate General, Ministerio de Hacienda y Función Pública.
