Description
The NEB Checklist, developed by our experts on behalf of and in close cooperation with the European Commission, is a self-assessment tool to help project promoters evaluate how built environment projects align with the NEB core values and working principles.
The NEB Checklist can be used for the following aims:
- Assessment of the compliance of “small” projects (buildings and open spaces with investment costs approximately below EUR 100,000) with NEB.
- Preliminary screening of projects of any size to assess their alignment with NEB, excluding complex urban-scale schemes.
- In general, early-stage evaluation of any project idea against the NEB values and principles.
The Checklist can be used at any stage of a project’s lifecycle by informing decision-making.
This tool is designed for users with a good understanding of their project but does not require advanced technical expertise. However, for more complex or larger projects, input from the project’s design or engineering team may be needed.
Should you experience any technical difficulties with the tool, kindly report them to jaspersnetwork@eib.org using "NEB Checklist" as subject.
