JASPERS has worked with North Macedonia since 2013.

Advisory assignments in the water sector have contributed to optimising the sewerage networks, increasing the number of people with access to proper wastewater treatment, improving the water quality of rivers in North Macedonia and reducing the public health risks related to wastewater.

JASPERS has assisted almost all regions of North Macedonia in solid waste. These projects aim at reducing the pollution caused by waste disposal, creating a healthier environment for people, making waste management compliant with the legislative requirements at European and national level, and increasing the reuse and recycling of waste.

In the transport sector, JASPERS has supported the reconstruction of motorways and the upgrade and construction of sections of railway.
