JASPERS began working in Montenegro in 2013.

About half of its activities in Montenegro focus on strategical support, such as the development of a transport strategy, the application of cost-benefit analysis in the water and solid waste sectors, and the implementation of contract procedures in infrastructure projects. We have also provided advisory support to water and wastewater, solid waste and transport projects.

In the water sector, for instance, JASPERS water experts helped Berane municipality set up a new wastewater treatment plant serving around 20 000 people.

We are currently doubling the number of our assignments to have a stronger presence in the country.
