France and JASPERS signed the first country action plan in 2015.

JASPERS projects are located in mainland France, as well as the overseas departments of French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion. The assignments have covered different themes such as energy, ICT, solid waste, transport, circular economy and urban development.

In mainland France, we have supported an innovative renewable energy project, a first French floating wind farm located off the coast of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

In Martinique and Réunion, JASPERS is supporting the preparation of integrated waste management projects that will increase the recycling rates of these two regions and help them transition to a more circular economy.

Thanks to our ICT projects, people in France now have access to high-speed broadband, which means they can be connected to the internet at any time without the speed being affected.
